Moore & Moore
46 Henry st, Femantle. Weekdays 7-4, Weekends 8-4 Coffee: reg $3.8Coffee: 4/5, Food: N/a- $$$, Atmosphere:  indie kid/ artsy vibe: a place to catch up with friends on a sunny morning.
One day I’ll summon the courage to whip out my camera and unabashedly take photos in a cafe. But today is not this day. Next time, maybe, I’ll take some snaps of the cute outdoor area in all it’s endearingly miss-matched glory, the gallery space next door, the cushy seating stashed in private-feeling nooks. Yep, M&M was giving me pretty good vibes as soon as I walked in.
The food was too expensive for my broke-ass student self, so I just had to watch jealously as other people got amazing looking food. The coffee I got eased my food-envy though- is was lovely! Going there spontaneously on my lonesome (with a hefty bit of physiology reading) I felt a somewhat uncomfortable- this is definitely a place to be with some good company. good company with a spare $20 for lunch.
It may also have been awkward because of some old high school acquaintances who happened to be sitting at the table next to me. Like, that group of people who it would be awkward to go and say hi to (you don’t know them well enough for that) but if you don’t say hi you know that they know that you know them, and have ignored them. That’s pretty awkward too, you know?
